Short course for academics from Myanmar

Twelve academic staff members from Yangon University in Myanmar will visit ADSRI to participate in a short course program in Demographic and Social Research from 29 September - 10 October 2014.
The course is funded under the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Global Partnerships for Development Program. This is the first cohort in a three year program which will see 48 Yangoon University academics trained at ADSRI.
Dr Helen James is coordinating the program with ADSRI staff members teaching courses. Dr James is Adjunct Associate Professor in ADSRI and the Department of Anthropology, School of Culture, History and Language, College of Asia Pacific.
